When I prepared this candy for the first time, it turned into a great success as it is easy to prepare and yummy in taste.So, here is the recipe for Stick Candy.

Ingredients:

½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp granulated sugar
1 cup water
2 tsp essence of choice, e.g. lemon, vanilla or rose
1 tsp glycerin
½ cup vinegar or ½ tsp cream of tartar

• At the beginning, boil all the ingredients until crisp, except the baking soda and essence. Do not stir.
• Then, add soda.
• Transfer onto greased or lined cookie sheets to cool.
• Pour the essence over the top. Allow the mixture to cool.
• Once the mixture is partly cooled, begin shaping into stick shapes of any size you wish.
• Allow the stick shaped candy to cool completely and store in an air-tight container.
