Ingredients: 2 cups raw walnut halves ½ cup sugar 1/8 tsp salt
- To start preparing these delicious candied walnuts, you have to first preheat oven to 350°F. Lay walnuts in the middle rack of oven. Bake for 5-8 minutes. Be careful in toasting the walnuts, as it should not burn. After baking the walnuts, remove the rack from oven and allow it to cool.
- Pour sugar into a saucepan and cook it on medium heat. Keep stirring the sugar until it melts completely. As soon as sugar is melted, add walnuts to the pan and stir it.
- Stir it in such a way that walnuts are coated with sugar. Use two forks to separate the walnuts from each other. Add salt to the nuts and allow it to cool completely.
