A treat for the Zombie fans, especially the cult that follows Zombie movies, Zombie mints are a relatively new foray in the strangest candy section.

Where most mints promise fresh cool breath, Zombie mints, as the name suggests, takes on a crooked flavor to offer enthusiasts a rotten, ‘Brain’ flavor.

At first look, one might end up with a wrong, ‘dead wrong’ idea that these are just normal peppermint candies. On the contrary, these are made with the living dead in mind and can be a great treat for the usual zombie palate, zombie wannabes or fans.

Zombie Mints come in novelty tin which has a vivid zombie photo on top. Each tin contains 100 rotting brain flavored, round mints. The ingredients mentioned on the tin are magnesium stearate, dextrose, titanium dioxide, maltodextrin and ‘artificial meat flavor’. The artificial meat flavor is what most find striking when it comes to this candy as it truly gives the breath a foul, rotten odor.

These can be a great treat for zombies of vegetarian persuasion or as a snack as it contains artificial meat flavor and not actual meat and for other brain loving ones, these may be used to satisfy those ‘between meals’ cravings. As for the rest of the humans, they can be creatively used when cornered by brain hungry zombies by opening up a tin and hoping that they take the candies and let them live. However, there is hardly any guarantee that the zombies will take or like the candies and won’t go after the person’s real brain. Hence, their real workability can be tested only in times of a real widespread zombie attack. Nonetheless, they can still be a fun candy for pranks and Halloween.
